What Is This?
We purchased the domain DEXTERCOMMERCE.COM because of the building in which we had our office. We were not 100% that was the name of it, but that's what was on the front of the building so we figured -- hey, good enough.
The initial idea was just a simple web page that listed every business in the building,
but then we had this idea one day while having some coffee over at Foggy Bottom... what
if we used the domain to list every business in Dexter. We could still have our
own building directory, but a pic of every business, that was at least a little unique.
Now DexterCommerce.com is about promoting businesses in Dexter, Michigan. If you're a business owner and you're not listed here, or if you would like a better image, send us what you prefer. Our #1 partner in this effort has been Foggy Bottom Coffee
located just 2 minutes east of downtown Dexter, Michigan, they're
an independent shop creating their own coffee rather than resell
somebody else’s stuff. They buy beans green, then roast and
blend them right in the shop.
We approached Doug with the idea of cross-promoting between here and there with the idea being to better support his customers by doing something to help promote them.
